Unsurprising really, since you’re trying to respond to everything without f*cking it up.You’re navigating systems and spaces that weren’t built for you, your values, or your nervous system.Somehow you’re expected to stay calm, accountable, articulate, and kind… all at once. It’s no wonder your body’s on strike until further notice and rest feels suspicious.

I’m Zeph (any | no), your friendly neighborhood queer breathworker.

And, your new roomie! I know a thing or two about breathing.Once upon a time, I burnt out and came undone. Doing all the things and being all the people for queer liberation will do it to ya. Especially when it’s a 24/7 fight for prison abolition. It was either pick me, choose me, love me; or suffocate trying to be who everyone thought I should be.Yep, I chose to breathe in me.Along the way, I studied healing justice and dreamt of abolitionist futures at the knees of brilliant queer Black, Brown, and Indigenous folks. My learning lineage includes Mia Mingus, Mariame Kaba, Angela Davis, Miss Major, Alok Vaid-Menon, adrienne maree brown, Dean Spade, and Urvashi Vaid, among others.Now, I show up for chronically online neurodivergent gurlies who burn out from trying to do it all, rad humans who overthink every move and feel guilty saying no, but want to trust their decisions; queer biz babes in need of radical self care, and white folks who want liberation but don’t know how to practice it yet.However we meet, I’ll never ask you to bypass your body or max out your nervous system.
